On July 23 in Moscow, an official meeting took place between the Summa Group management and Bayin Chaolu, governor of the northeastern Chinese province of Jilin. Over 100 people participated in the event. Among them were the heads of several of China’s major business entities: Jilin Grain Company, Northeast Asia Railway Corporation, Jilin Coal Corporation, as well as one of the China’s largest multi-industry holdings, China Merchants Group. From the Russian side, heads of companies in which the Summa Group is a shareholder participated: the FESCO Transportation Group, United Grain Company, Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, Transengineering and the public officials from the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry for Development of the Russian Far East, Primorsky Krai administration and the Rosmorport Federal State Unitary Enterprise....

The association will include Stroynovatsiya OJSC, Intex OJSC, GlobalElectroService JSC, design centers (including Neftproekt Design Institute) and a number of other legal entities. The management company was named Transengineering. The company is headed by Eldar Nagaplov, the General Director of GlobalElectroService JSC and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Stroynovatsiya and Intex....

Summa Group and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport have signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the Bolshoy Zarubino Port Project. The Bolshoy Zarubino Project is to be implemented on an area in Primorsky Krai that is owned by Summa Group. It will be located 18km away from the Russian border with China. The port will include terminals for the transportation of grain, containers, Ro-Ro units, bulk cargo and other goods. The port’s turnover will amount to 60 million tons per year....
