Application is to be considered at the tender, called by Rotterdam port in the beginning of the year. From May 20 to July 22 the port received offers from investors concerning the oil terminal construction (Tank Terminal Europoort West, TEW) on two areas – 45 and 10 hectares. Rotterdam wants the object to be a “full-scale oil loading hub” that will “play important role in world oil transportation”. Freight received should preferably be re-exported via sea –the documents of the port say. The terminal is also supposed to work with oil products (diesel fuel) as well. Read more
