ФАС разрешила оформить права старшего брата Зиявудина Магомедова Магомеда как совладельца части активов группы "Сумма"

Materials from the Federal Antimonopoly Service /FAS/ state that the service has approved an application from Shevronne Investments Ltd, registered in the British Virgin Islands, to be given the rights to determine the business environment for companies from Summa Group's engineering and telecommunications division.
 
GlobalElektroServis, OJSC; Communications Strategy, LLC; Grand Servis, LLC; Kontakt S, LLC; Stroynovatsiya, LLC, and also Summa Telecom, LLC and National Telecom, CJSC, are at issue. All of these assets are part of Summa Group.
 
Summa has officially informed ITAR-TASS that Shevronne Investments Ltd belongs to the group's shareholders. "The issue is about optimizing the management and ownership configuration for several assets," the group added, without explaining the details of the deal.
 
"This is a legal formality that reflects the fact that today Magomed Magomedov - the brother of Summa Group's founder Ziyavudin Magomedov - is one of the shareholders of these assets," a source close to the group explained to ITAR-TASS. He did not specify the size of the stake in Summa's assets that is owned by Magomed Magomedov, noting that this was "a technical procedure necessary to optimize the management and ownership structure of some assets." According to him, similar applications by Shevronne Investments Ltd were granted regarding Summa's port assets associated with the companies of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group.
 
Magomed Magomedov is the older brother of Ziyavudin Magomedov, the founder and principle shareholder of Summa Group. Magomed Magomedov was previously involved in politics, specifically, from 2002-2009 he was a senator from the Smolensk region, and in 2009 the United Russia party proposed his candidacy for the presidency of the Republic of Dagestan to the Russian president.
 
Summa Group is a diversified Russian holding company with assets in construction, ports, transportation and logistics, the oil and gas industry, agriculture, the metallurgical and mining industry, and telecommunications. The group's financial figures are not disclosed.
