Магомедов вошел в попечительский совет фонда клуба "Валдай"
Magomedov is also a member of the Russian Council on International Affairs and is joining the Presidential Council for the Economic Modernization and Innovative Development of Russia.
"The main areas in which the Valdai Club and Summa Group will work together will be projects to develop transportation infrastructure and tighten food security," the club's foundation reported.
Summa Group is one of the most dynamic, growing holding companies in Russia, and its global vision is extremely valuable in this rapidly changing world. The company frequently initiates discussions at the international level regarding issues pertinent to its mission. "I'm confident that Ziyavudin Magomedov's involvement in the club's work will help move the discussion of these nationally vital subjects to a new level," claims the chairman of the Valdai Club, Sergei Karaganov.
The Valdai Club was established in 2004 by the RIA Novosti news agency and the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, in association with the magazine Russia in Global Affairs and the Moscow News newspaper, in order to strengthen and develop the dialog between Russian and foreign academics, politicians, and journalists and to provide an independent, unbiased, scholarly analysis of political, economic, and social processes in Russia and the world. In the ten years since the club's founding, its conferences have been attended by more than 600 representatives of the international academic community from 47 countries.
