Yatec OJSC, an oil and gas company belonging to Summa, has joined the National Association for Subsoil Use Auditing non-profit partnership.

Chief Engineer Andrey Glukhov says membership in the partnership is relevant and worthwhile these days primarily for the company’s geological team. “The partnership is the basic platform through which it is possible to put forward new ideas in the area of rational subsoil use, and it’s a way to develop mutually beneficial relationships between extractive companies and the government agencies that regulate the sector. Partnership makes it possible to develop cooperation with foreign organizations in the subsoil area,” he said.
Yatec’s representative in the partnership is S.G. Giravov.
Background: The National Association for Subsoil Use Auditing non-commercial partnership was established in 2004 to accumulate and promote best practices in the field of geological studies, economic evaluation, reserves estimation, industrial development and technical solutions in field development.

The partnership was founded by 14 companies including Lukoil, Alrosa and Surgutneftegas. The partnership includes such major companies as Rosneft, Bashneft, Polyus and others.
