Группа «Сумма» приобрела на аукционе 22% акций ОАО «ЯТЭК»
On August 08, 2011 Investor LLC, an affiliated company of Summa Group, won an auction to buy 22.22% of ordinary shares of Yakutia Fuel Energy Company (YATEC) OJSC for RUB 350 mln. The auction was held as a part of the bankruptcy procedure for JSC Sakhaneftegaz.
The starting price for the lot was RUB 333.443 mln, with an increment set at RUB 16.672 mln. One step was made in course of the auction. The auction was open, and all necessary information on participation in it was available on the Internet.
On August 22, 2011 Investor LLC filed the appropriate documents to the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation.
Leyla Mamedzadeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YATEC OJSC, says: ”Acquisition of 22.22% of shares of YATEC OJSC will allow to consolidate nearly 100% of the company, and will provide us with more extent of control and flexibility in making management decisions”.

The plans of Summa Group related to the development of YATEC OJSC include expansion of petrol station network, increase in gas condensate refining and resource base growth.
Leyla Mamedzadeh notes: ”In the medium term, we consider a number of new promising projects. A final decision will be made by the end of 2011 regarding GTL plant, one of the ongoing projects. It is forecasted that the volume of gasoline production (made of natural gas) will grow to approximately 65 thousand tons by 2014, and 130 thousand tons by 2017”.
Looking back at March 2011, YATEC OJSC and Haldor Topsoe, the Danish catalyst company, signed an agreement to conduct a preliminary estimate and to calculate capital and operating costs to build a motor fuels plant using GTL technology.
Also, YATEC OJSC has a number of strategic projects that are currently at an early stage of development. The company plans to expand beyond the Yakut region. ”In the long-term, we welcome the participation of Russian and foreign strategic investors, as well as consider projects within the framework of the public-private partnership projects”, emphasized Leyla Mamedzadeh.
