This year there are plans to send 16,200 tons of stable gas condensate by ship to cover the needs of the housing and utilities state unitary enterprise in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Thus, preparatory work is currently underway to ensure the next trouble-free shipment of fuel.
"The contractual arrangements regarding supplies for 2012-2013 have been finalized with the housing and utilities state unitary enterprise. Today we can safely say that, just like before, the necessary amount of fuel will be provided," claimed Zairbek Yusupov, YATEK's CEO.
YATEK's department in the village of Kysyl-Syr in the Vilyui Ulus that is responsible for the floating shipments is making its preparations according to an established schedule. Inspections are being carried out on the industrial pipelines, shutoff valves, and the monitoring and pumping equipment that are involved in shipping the products. Work is underway to set up the fire-safety and security stations, and the river fleet is being readied. Preparatory work is being done for the future restoration of the access roads once the floodwater recedes.
The company claims that compared to years past, the last two years have seen an increase in the amount of motor fuel that is sent by ship. These types of fuel are being delivered to retail businesses.
