Summa Group President Alexander Vinokurov and CEO of the French diversified holding company Veolia Environnement, Antoine Frerot, have signed an agreement to develop a joint business venture in Russia. The companies are planning projects in water supply and wastewater collection, waste management and recycling, as well as in the energy sector.
 
Veolia Environnement is a world leader in providing highly eco-friendly services in the housing and communal services sectors. While carrying out joint projects with Summa Group, the French holding company will apply its technological know-how and innovative solutions to the construction and operation of water and wastewater management systems. Veolia intends to provide technology and equipment for the removal and utilization of trash, including sorting stations, while implementing internationally recognized best practices for dealing with waste.
 
Summa Group is interested in entering these markets using international best practices. In addition, the Group has a high level of competence in logistics, which can be utilized in projects involving the removal, sorting, and utilization of waste.
