«ГлобалЭлектроСервис» завершил масштабный проект по строительству ВЛ 500 кВ Курган - Ишим с реконструкцией ПС 500 кВ «Курган»

 GlobalElektroServis has completed a major project to build the 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line while renovating the 500 kW Kurgan substation. GlobalElektroServis, OJSC has completed a major project to build the 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line while renovating the 500 kW Kurgan substation (the Kurgan region) at a cost of 7.9 billion rubles.

 

The ceremony to introduce the live high-voltage line was attended by the governor of the Kurgan region, Oleg Bogomolov; the chairman of the board of FGC UES, OJSC, Andrey Murov; the general director of CIUS-UES, OJSC, Leonid Mazo; the general director of MES Urals, Evgeny Zhuykov; and the general director of GlobalElektroServis, OJSC, Eldar Nagaplov. The construction of the 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line was ordered by MES Urals, a branch of UES FGC, OJSC, and the general contractor was GlobalElektroServis, OJSC.

 

The 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line stretches 289.4 km, reaching from the northern part of the Kurgan region to the southern part of the Tyumen region. During the construction of the high-voltage line, polyhedral suspension towers for 500-kW class overhead lines were used for the first time in Russia. As part of the project, 769 towers were erected. The maximum level of transmitted power is 1,788 MW.

 

"Putting the 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line into operation will make it possible to increase the amount of power transmitted from the Tyumen energy system, through the Kurgan substation, into the inadequate Chelyabinsk energy system, as well as to set up an inter-system electrical connection from the unified energy system of the Urals and Siberia that bypasses Kazakhstan," noted the general director of GlobalElektroServis, OJSC, Eldar Nagaplov.

 

As part of the renovations of the Kurgan substation, a range of work was carried out to install two one-dimensional cells at the 500 kW outdoor switchgear to connect the 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line, plus relay protection and automation devices and emergency controls were installed for the planned 500 kW high-voltage line.

 

The company is currently completing the renovation of the Ishim substation, which is the end point of the 500 kW Kurgan - Ishim high-voltage line.
