«Сименс» и Группа «Сумма» будут сотрудничать при разработке новых инфраструктурных решений
Siemens and Summa Group have announced a future partnership and today signed a letter of intent to cooperate. That document was signed by the president of Summa Group, Alexander Vinokourov, and the president of Siemens Russia and Central Asia, Dietrich Möller. The text of the agreement specifies that the partners intend to jointly develop integrated infrastructure solutions that follow the sustainable development guidelines for cities in Russia.
Summa Group has extensive expertise in the design, construction, and renovation of infrastructure facilities, and Siemens is a global leader in this field. "Together, we can develop the most effective solutions that can be of interest not only to our own companies, but also to other market players. The infrastructure of a modern city demands an approach that is innovative, environmentally friendly, and energy efficient. These are the principles that will guide us as we draw up our projects," noted Alexander Vinkokurov, the president of Summa Group.
"Creating efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for urban infrastructure is a major focus of Siemens' work, and we see a real need for these solutions, including on the Russian market. I am confident that through our partnership with Summa Group we will be able to offer Russian clients the technology they need to not only update specific facilities, but also to pursue complex infrastructure projects in various market segments," noted Dietrich Möller, the president of Siemens Russia and Central Asia.
The partners plan to draft proposals for the use of innovative and energy-saving technology in the design and construction of stadiums in preparation for the 2018 World Cup in soccer. This project could be particularly important for the Russian market, given the fairly strict environmental requirements for FIFA's athletic facilities.
The agreement anticipates the companies' cooperation in the allocation of electricity and management of buildings. One of the joint projects here could be the creation of an intelligent 20/0.4 kV network within the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
In addition, Siemens and Summa Group plan to develop integrated solutions for modern road-traffic management and light rail transportation, and projects to build power facilities and supply them with modern equipment are possible as well. The development and installation of energy-saving solutions for commercial real estate is also anticipated, in order to ensure compliance with eco-friendly construction requirements.
