As part of the renovation of the Yaroslavl highway, Stroynovatsiya, LLC has begun preparatory work between kilometer markers 16 and 20 to build an interchange. The new interchange will allow access to the Yaroslavl highway from Frunze street (in the town of Mytischi). Five ramps and two access lanes are planned for the interchange. Currently the land is being cleared and utility lines are being brought in so that the construction and installation work can begin.

"The new interchange will relieve traffic congestion at the exit and entrance to the town of Mytishchi. The renovation work between kilometer markers 16 and 20 of the Yaroslavl highway, including the construction of the interchanges, will be carried out without inconveniencing drivers. The existing traffic lanes will be kept open throughout the work," noted Eldar Nagaplov, the chairman of the board of directors of Stroynovatsiya, LLC.

In late May, the company began the preparatory work for the construction of a cloverleaf overpass in the direction of Moscow. The overpass is designed to funnel Moscow-bound traffic from Druzhba park, the Perlovsky Power Equipment Plant, OJSC, and the XL shopping and entertainment complex.

Stroynovatsiya is the general contractor for the renovation of the M-8 Kholmogory highway, between kilometer markers 16 and 20, at a cost of 7.282 billion rubles. The renovation will allow the road to be expanded to include five lanes in each direction plus merging lanes. Currently, the road being renovated has six traffic lanes, three traveling in each direction.

During the construction, four pedestrian bridges will be built, as well as two viaducts and two interchanges. Throughout that stretch of highway the company will install metal barriers and electric lighting. After the renovations are complete, the road will be able to handle over 250,000 vehicles per day in both directions. The renovation work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015.

Stroynovatsiya is currently involved in a project to prepare for the construction of the Central Ring Road in the Moscow region, is renovating a section of the M-29 Caucasus federal highway, and is building an interchange on a section of the Sukhumiyskoe highway in Novorossiysk.
