ЯТЭК: Подготовка к зимнему периоду проходит в плановом режиме

Yatec has held its latest production meeting to discuss the upcoming heating season.

“Natural gas production is seasonal. Since gas consumption during the winter is several times greater than during the summer, it’s very important that we continue to be ready for peak loads,” said Technical Director Andrei Kochkin.

The meeting focused on efforts to get Yatec’s facilities ready for the coming winter. Valery Babichev, Head of Yatec’s Central Engineering and Technical Team in the village of Kysyl-Syr, said winter preparations have been completed at the company’s gas and gas condensate treatment plants. Well 16 has been overhauled, and the team is planning to flush water wells № 9 and 10. The team will soon replace the methanol tanks as planned.

Repair work continues in the thermal power station, and the boilers and heat pipeline are being repaired and restored. Repairs to the village’s transformer substations are nearing completion. Worn-out emergency power transmission poles have been replaced, and the wires on the lines have been retightened. All the work is to be completed by September.
